Jacqui Walshe appointed CEO of Southern Travel Holdings Limited

Jacqui Walshe, currently the Managing Director of The Walshe Group, will take on the newly created position of CEO of Southern Travel Holdings Ltd effective 01 April 2008. (The Walshe Group became a subsidiary of STH on 1 July 2007.)
Jacqui Walshe will be responsible for the operations of both The Walshe Group and Southern Travelnet, the other Group subsidiary, which specializes in inbound travel arrangements from Japan to Australia and New Zealand. Jacqui is based in the Sydney office of the Group and will report directly to the Board in Auckland.
Additionally, the Chairman of Directors of Southern Travel Holdings (STH), Rodney HC Walshe, announced the appointment of Kiyomi Gunji as Deputy Chairman of Directors and Special Advisor to the Japanese division. Mr Gunji will vacate the position of Managing Director of STH. Kiyomi Gunji will be joined in the Special Advisor role by Ms Kazue Gunji, the current Managing Director of Southern Travelnet, who will vacate this position.
