South African Airways carries more than 6.5 million passengers each year and serves 34 cities in 26 countries on six continents, while employing close to 12 000 people worldwide. The SAA fleet includes the Airbus A340 & A319 as well as the Boeing B737 & B747-400 aircraft.

SAA offers 10 services a week from Sydney & Perth to Johannesburg with connections on the strongest airline network of any carrier operating throughout Africa. Connections from New Zealand exist to most SAA services between Australia & South Africa, offering the most direct route to the African continent for travellers from Australasia.

The Walshe Group was appointed New Zealand General Sales Agent in 1998 and in 2002 was appointed GSA in Australia, providing all sales services excluding accounting and airport management. South African Airways management and administration employees provided with dedicated space in the Walshe Group Sydney office.
